WE. DID. IT!!  It’s the weekend..woo-hoo!  I swear, I looked at the clock at 11:15 AM on Wednesday, and when I checked it again 2 hours later..it was still 11:15 AM..seriously!  LOL!  🙂  The simple fact that it’s the weekend is cause for celebration, but it’s a long weekend!  Thank you to all of the heroes that have & continue to provide us with our freedom..YAY!  And is there any better way to celebrate a hero or a weekend morning than with a leisurely & delicious breakfast…nope! 🙂

Especially when that breakfast is a sky high, creamy & fruity pile of waffles!  Regular waffles..you ask? NOO!!  These waffles are filled with super healthy Black Cherry Greek Yogurt, all toasty and dripping in cherries!  The slight tang from the yogurt is such a nice balance to the sweet waffles..and the perfect way to start your amazing day ahead!  🙂

This tasty tower is so super simple too!  You’ll have the family gathered around the table in a matter of minutes.  The smell of these fluffy and fruity waffles is enough to wake the neighbors..be prepared to make an extra batch! 🙂

What you’ll need for 4 waffles (double the recipe accordingly)

1 container of Chobani Black Cherry Greek Yogurt

2 Cups of Waffle/Pancake Mix

1/4 Cup of Cream..or milk

1/2 Cup Cherry Pie Filling

Maple Syrup..optional

A waffle maker..if you don’t have one, just make them into pancakes on a griddle..still YUMMY!  🙂

Directions:

In a medium bowl mix everything together, and then gently swirl in the cherry pie filling..don’t over mix

Reserve a little of the cherry pie filling for garnish

Prepare the waffles according to your waffle maker’s instructions..

 

Serve them warm, with a drizzle of Maple Syrup.

 

..And a big small scoop of cherry pie filling!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
