Okay, so I’m on another “kick”.  A few months ago it was stuffing everything into Jalapenos, right now it’s ‘Muddy Buddy’, Or ‘Monkey Munch’, OR ‘Puppy Chow’..lol!  This stuff has more names than I can keep track of, but whatever you call it..it’s just plain D. LISH. US!

Usually I like to make food tiny and cute, but this time I enlarged the greatness!  I Muddy-Buddied some basic store bought Cookies!  Some people might call it laziness, I prefer to call it energy conservation!

Who cares…we’ve got cookies!  ;)

That’s right..no baking!  :)

But i’m not gonna lie..making these is a messy job, with lots of finger licking going on.

I mean LOTS of finger licking, but they’re SO worth it!  If you must pop a few of these into your mouth before you serve them, don’t plan on getting away with it!  The Powdered Sugar will not only turn you in, but will stand up and testify against you as well!  :)

These treats offer all the greatness of the typical Muddy Buddy flavors with the ease and enjoyment of a crunchy cookie concoction!  Perfect with a Mug of Hot Chocolate!

Do it!

What you’ll need for approx 20 Muddy Buddy Cookies:

Your fave store bought cookies (I used Pecan Sandies & Chocolate Chip)

1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/4 Cup Melted Butter

1/2 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter

1-2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

2 Cups Powdered Sugar

A large Zipper Baggie

Directions:

In a medium microwave safe bowl combine the Choc. Chips, Melted Butter and Peanut Butter, nuke it for approx 1 minute and then stir in the Vanilla!  Nuke for another 30 seconds or so, stir it up until it’s smooth…

Add the Powdered Sugar into the Baggie and set aside.

Dip each cookie into the melted Chocolate, making sure that both sides are covered nicely…

Drop a few into the baggie with the Powdered Sugar (I did about 5 cookies at a time), shake it up until the cookies are coated in the sugar.

Set each coated Cookie onto some parchment paper to “dry” for about 10 minutes..

Feel free to sprinkle them with a little more sugar…

Serve them up..

Make sure you’re not wearing black, and take a delicious Muddy bite!  ~Enjoy!  :)
