Oh jeez~~I’ve gone and done it again!  I’ve mashed things up, rocked the boat, stirred the pot!  I’ve taken a perfectly good, ordinary french toast breakfast, and morphed it into something even more “perfectly good”!  It’s true!

I took that custardy, moist french toast and gave it ‘syrup dimples’..in the form of Waffles!

NOW~ French Toast can be filled with all the sweet, syrupy glory of Waffles, while still holding true to all the tender, cinnamony, French Toast goodness we all know and love!  And it’s SO easy!

Make up a batch of this magical morning union and see what I mean!  It’s a French Toast/Waffle love child of epic yumminess!

What you’ll need for 4 Waffle-ized Slices opt French Toast…(double accordingly for more):

4 Slices of really good Bread, like Cobblestone Bread!!  <<  AHH~MAZING!

The Custard:

2 eggs

1 cup of Milk

A dash of Cinnamon

The Topping:

One cup of Cinnamon/Sugar…your favorite ratio!

Butter for topping

Syrup for topping

A waffle iron!

Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix together the Eggs, Milk and dash of Cinnamon…

Dip each slice of Bread ingot he egg mixture, making sure to evenly coat both sides…

Now, place it inside your hot Waffle Iron…checking and watching for it to get nice and golden…

While they’re warm, sprinkle them with Cinnamon Sugar for that classic French Toast taste~  feel free to get booth sides nice and covered!

Stack them up…

Plate them up…

Dress them up…

Serve them up…
