So, I suddenly found myself needing a quick little snack for drop-in company.  You know, when that dreaded tune of an unexpected doorbell plays like a soundtrack to your nightmares, while sudden panic washes over you as you’re scrambling to clean AND menu plan all at the same time?!…lol!

Anyway…I wanted something that was a little more appetizing than the can of  pork and beans I’ve had in my pantry since early 1999..so I got creative.  I gathered up the Bacon and the Brie that I luckily had in the fridge  and got busy!  I wasn’t sure what these bites would turn out like, but I knew I couldn’t go wrong!

And they were as far from wrong as you can get!  OMG ~this little creation made me appreciate unexpected company more than I ever thought I could!  Each buttery crescent is filled with creamy, gooey Brie, and studded with bites of sweet, crunchy candied bacon to balance it all out!  The combination is to die for, and I plan on making these even for company that I actually invite I’m prepared for!  🙂

~Do this as soon as you can…trust me!

What you’ll need:

1 roll of Pillsbury Crescents (8 count)

2 cups of Crumbled Candied Bacon..super simple recipe below>>

CANDIED BACON:

Brie…approx. 1-1″ cube per crescent

Brown Sugar ..just enough for a dusting

1 egg mixed with a splash of water for egg wash

Directions:

Lay out a crescent roll, and gently even out the dough.  Place a scoop of crumbled candied bacon and one cube of the brie on the wide end of the crescent.  Brush the edges with some egg wash, fold in the sides and roll it up~

Brush the tops with some more egg wash…

Now give them a sprinkling of brown sugar…

Bake them on a parchment lined sheet pan at 350 degrees for approx. 12-15 minutes, or until they’re slightly golden and puffy!

Pop one in your mouth before anyone knows they’re done…

Now you can let everyone know!

If you want to..haha!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
