Are we sick of Valentine’s Day treats yet..NO WAY!  Bring on the red & pink..the hugs & kisses..and the annoying pet names pooky ooky shnooky pies! 😉

I swore that I wasn’t going to fall victim to the Red Velvet Valentine’s treat trend..and like always, the second I say that..Poof, an idea!  So, here we are with what turned out to be one of the most awesome little lava cakes ever!  Talk about ooey gooey, mushy gushy love!  I like to think this cake and I had a deep and meaningful 10 minute relationship..LOL!  I know I won’t forget it!  🙂

Whip up a quick batch of these and WOW your honey like never before..umm, yeah?!

What you’ll need:

Red Velvet Cake Mix…don’t ever apologize for using cake mix. no one is going to enjoy it more, just because you made it from scratch..trust me! 😉

White Chocolate Almond Bark

Directions:

Mix up the Red Velvet batter according to the box instructions

Cut the white chocolate into about 1/2″ squares

Put enough batter in the bottom of your cupcake tin to cover the bottom and place a piece of the white chocolate into it

Then cover the piece of chocolate with more batter..leaving about 1/4″ of room at the top for the cupcake to grow 🙂

Bake them at 350 until the tops are firm, let them cool slightly and turn them out, or place them upside down on a plate!

Grab 2 spoons & your Valentine, then dig into the flowing white chocolate river of yumminess and the moist decadent red velvet cake!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
