I have always used the cheap womp-em biscuits, I never knew you could use the flaky layer biscuits!! And I had never tried to put anything in the middle!! I will try that next time!!!! My kids LOVE this type of donuts!!!

In reply to Rachel. The Chocolate will not be gooey if they sit for very long, so as long as you're okay with that, you can enjoy them whenever you'd like! I like them fresh and warm! :)

In reply to dbbie. If you seal them SUPER tight, it just might work! I'd use a Hershey's Kiss instead though, just to buy the Chocolate a little more cooking time before it melts! :)

Looks super yummy but can you tell me what they’re like after sitting a bit? Could you make these ahead of time or are they pretty much a make it right before you need it type of thing?
