I am going to make these however instead of just rolling in chocolate chips, I am going to melt them then just drizzle it across lightly, I don't want the chocolate to over power the taste.

OK, I'm thinking these should be "OutLawed" for the folks that don't have pastry bags. I thought you could possibly freeze little balls of the frosting, then wrapping the dough around it. I'm also thinking about baking them, I would think it would at least only get you a "Misdemeanor"

I am thinking taking this a step further melting the chocolate chips and rolling the dough balls in the melted chocolate after you have filled with frosting. This way you have a more even chocolaty taste. Oh so oo yummy.

Actually, it should be just fine. The frosting will fill the tip enough to puncture the dough. If not, you could always use a knife to poke a small hole to penetrate the fried outside, then insert baggie. :)

Hello! I just tried posting a comment but it didn't work i don't think - so if you get 2 i do apologize!

I have a quick question - if you don't have a pastry bag with a tip, and just use the bag and cut a hole in the tip, what should you use to insert it into the donut and fill with frosting? I'm not sure that just the bag itself would work to make a hole in the donut. Thank you, can't wait to try these they look amazing!!
