Soo..I have a confession, I’ve been seeing LOTS of these dessert style “Lasagna’s” floating around the cyber clouds recently and they’ve bugged me…haha!  The idea of calling a layered dessert a “Lasagna” or calling a bowl full of frosting & snickers’ chunks a “Snickers Salad” was just something I didn’t like, which is kind of strange for me, since I am the queen of food/name mash-ups!  I know..so weird! 🙂

But, whatever~  I had a change of heart the second that this sweet little layered ‘lasagna’ idea popped into my head..and here we are! 🙂

I decided to get on board the sweet, dessert “Lasagna” train and layer up some goodness of my own…in the form of thick, rich cheesecake, and tender graham crackers, dripping in caramel.  Is that alright with you??  ..I hope so!  😉

Working your way through every sweet, creamy, cheesecake-filled, graham cracker layer is heavenly and when you drizzle a little caramel over the top… Ooo~  it’s double heaven!

~Ahhh..YEAH!  This winner couldn’t be any easier and the payoff is HUGE!  Make a pan of this today and smile for the next week (maybe even two weeks..lol)!  🙂

What you’ll need:

8x6x2″ deep pan

Box of Graham Crackers..the entire box..every. last. cracker.

Cool Whip  (8 oz.)

1 lb. container of Cheesecake Filling

1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs

Caramel for drizzling

Directions:

In a large bowl combine the cool whip and the cheesecake filling, gently folding until fully combined…

Simply layer the graham crackers with about 1/2″ or so of the filling, starting with a single layer of the graham crackers on the bottom.

Gently spread the filling evenly over the cracker layers. The first layer is the hardest, as the crackers want to move around~  it gets easier as the weight of the layers start to hold everything in place.

Just keep layering so the top layer is the filling!

Now simply sprinkle the top with the Graham Cracker Crumbs…

Annnd..into the freezer it goes, until you’re ready to serve!

JUST before you serve, go ahead and drizzle some of the caramel all over the top.  If you do this before it goes into the freezer, it’s ok..just a bit stickier to cut and serve.

Serve up a mile-high slice and listen for the Oooh’s and Ahhh’s…

Feel free to add more caramel to each serving..because..YUM!

Look around at all of the hungry faces that have now gathered around you…

Store any leftovers in the freezer..obviously..haha!  ..if there is any left!  ~Enjoy!:)
