The 1/2 cup is to be reserved to use as needed for the glaze …I clarified it. Also..use the flour until you get the batter/dough-like consistency you need. you may need a little more, or less..just depending. 🙂

I tried to make these tonight and 1 1/2 cups of Apple Ale and 1 egg to 1 cup of flour made for a really runny batter. The directions say to mix until a semi-thick dough…mine was no where near that. What am I missing because I am dying to make these???
