I used “puff pastry squares” instead of biscuits. OMG, this is now the most dangerous recipe I own. Inexpensive, delicious and so easy to make and to bake! I dusted mine with powdered sugar. My hubby put his on a plate, covered it with strawberry jam he had warmed in the microwave oven and then put Redi-whip on top of that (yes, his Life Insurance is paid up to date and worth enough for me to be vvveeerrrryyy comfortable, that fool!). Add any twist you choose to make it your own, it’s easy for substitutions after the base is finished.
