I love chocolate gravy and biscuits. My granddaddy made the best. We would start begging for " chocolate for breakfast" the day before. I would break open my biscuit(s), pour the chocolate over them, then add a pat of butter on top of the chocolate. Another treat granddaddy would prepare for us was "tomater biscuit ". Break open a hot biscuit add a slice of "fresh from the garden" tomato and sprinkle the tomato with sugar and put the top back on as a sandwich. The taste is unbelievable. Store bought tomatoes work too although normally not as juicy.

Cocoa and Biscuits
1 cup of cocoa
2 cups of sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 cup milk (I use evaporated milk, makes it thicker, but you can use regular milk)
Stir together and heat
I use evaporated can milk but you can use whole or even 2 % but it won't be as thick and in my opinion not has good!
My Mom (she was from NC) used to make this for me; you dip the biscuit in the cocoa. For a chocoholic like me it doesn't get any better.
