<p>Yep~!  This recipe is everything we know and love about classic food, rolled into one amazing and delicious magnificent mash-up of ALL time!  This is Tomato Soup AND Grilled Cheese together, as one!  ..YES, it&#8217;s true!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctmid1.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16802 size-full" title="Tomato Soup Bread!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctmid1.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="640" /></a></p>
<p>First of all, let me just say, that if you do nothing else, make nothing else, eat nothing else..you have GOT to make this Tomato Soup Bread!  It is one of the most amazing things I&#8217;ve ever had..seriously!  You will feel like an adult 6 year old…lol!  It&#8217;s warm, comforting and scrumptious and filled with Tomato Soup!</p>
<p>Then..OH, Lordy..then, when you add those classic American Cheese slices and make Grilled Cheese sandwiches out of the Tomato Soup Bread…you&#8217;ve died a delicious death, and come back for more within 2 seconds..it&#8217;s a miracle!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctmid2.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16803 size-full" title="YUM!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctmid2.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="609" /></a></p>
<p>Every grandma up in heaven AND here on Earth, with be shining golden rays of happiness and joy upon us as we relive our childhood in the most magical and updated way ever!  Do it! 🙂</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctb4.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16804 size-full" title="gimme!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctb4.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="639" /></a></p>
<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need:</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctsups.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16805 size-full" title="GETI IT!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctsups.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>(2) 10 oz. cans of Tomato Soup</p>
<p>1-1/2 cups of self rising flour</p>
<p>Slices of American Cheese…approx. 8-10 per loaf</p>
<p>A small bread/loaf pan</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctbet.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16806 size-full" title="SO GOOD!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctbet.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="669" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>In a large bowl, mix up the soup and the flour until well combined!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctmix.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16807 size-full" title="mix it up!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctmix.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Put the batter into a sprayed loaf pan  (I used a small loaf pan, so the bread would be nice and tall)</p>
<p>Bake it at 350 for approx. 20  minutes, or until it&#8217;s firm throughout and darker in color&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctbake.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16808 size-full" title="into the oven!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctbake.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Take it out and let it cool almost all the way&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctcool.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16809 size-full" title="let it cool!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctcool.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Now, place the bread loaf onto a sheet pan, and gently slice the bread, making sure NOT to go all the way through to the bottom.  Add one or two slices of the cheese into the bread&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctstuff.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16810 size-full" title="stuff it!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctstuff.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Put it back into the oven for a few more minutes, or just until the cheese is all melty, gooey and scrumptious!  You can also toast individual slices of the bread and top it with anything you&#8217;d like..YUM!</p>
<p>Slice it up, pull it apart..or just rip at it, but get that warm, soupy, cheesy bread into your mouth&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctplate.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16811 size-full" title="yes..please!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctplate.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="713" /></a></p>
<p>This will still go great with a nice, hot bowl of Tomato Soup..lol!  ~Enjoy! 🙂</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctbite.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16812 size-full" title="Mmm!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/gctbite.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="594" /></a></p>

<p>Happy Labor Day!!  A day for rest, relaxation..and grilling!  Perfect timing too, because it&#8217;s Green Chile season here in NM.  Soo it only makes sense to celebrate Labor Day with a  delicious combination of a grilled all-American Cheeseburger &amp; Roasted Hatch Green Chiles!  That&#8217;s how we roll around here on the biggest grilling day of the year..lol!  🙂</p>
<p>Following in the footsteps of these  <a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/2012/08/bacon-wrapped-stuffed-chiles.html"><strong>ahh-mazing stuffed Chile Peppers</strong></a>, I wanted to pay tribute to umm..only the <strong>BEST</strong> burger in the entire world~~The Green Chile Cheeseburger..yep, that&#8217;s right!  🙂</p>
<p>These perfectly grilled Cheeseburger Stuffed Chiles are kind of like an inside-out version of New Mexico&#8217;s favorite burger, the super melty, juicy &amp; spicy Green Chile Cheeseburger!  Oh, SOOO good!  And it&#8217;s hard to believe just how easy these are.  Give them a try and spice up your Grill anytime of year!  You&#8217;ll be a hero in your house for sure!  🙂</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t have access to Green Chile where you are??  NOT. A. PROB..here ya go!  Head on over to <a href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/ChileMonster"><em><strong>&#8216;Chile Monster&#8217;s facebook page&#8217;</strong> </em></a>OR their <a href="http://www.chilemonster.com/"><em><strong>website</strong> </em></a>and you can have fresh Hatch Green Chile delivered to your door..yep, it&#8217;s true!  They will meet and exceed all of your spicy needs!  🙂</p>
<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need for your own amazing Cheeseburger Stuffed Chiles:</strong></p>
<p>Fresh Green Chiles (2 per person, maybe 3..or 4!)  🙂</p>
<p>Ground Beef or Turkey, seasoned up the way you like!</p>
<p>American Cheese slices for that all-American authenticity, but any cheese would be D-Lish!</p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Slice the Chiles down one side, and remove the seeds.</p>
<p>Fill them up with your usual seasoned beef &#8216;burger mixture&#8217; (ground turkey will work too) and top them with classic American Cheese for that authentic all-American burger experience!</p>
<p>*<strong>YES, YOU CAN ADD BACON*..LOL!  🙂</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chzstuff.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-5956" title="Cheesy Chiles!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chzstuff-1024x672.jpg" alt="" width="655" height="430" /></a></p>
<p>Grill them until they&#8217;re charred, gooey, and the meat is fully cooked through.  I stuffed the Chiles with some fully cooked burger meat that I had leftover (made it easier)!  But raw meat will work fine too..maybe just let the meat cook inside the Chiles first, and then add the cheese to melt.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chzgrill.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-5957" title="Getting grilled!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chzgrill-1024x766.jpg" alt="" width="655" height="490" /></a></p>
<p>Let them char up and get all melty!</p>
<p>Grab a cold one!!</p>
<p>Serve them while they&#8217;re super warm, spicy &amp; gooey.  ~Enjoy!  🙂</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chzserve.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-5958" title="Make lots!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chzserve-1024x818.jpg" alt="" width="655" height="523" /></a></p>
