<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need:</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbsups.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16658 size-full" title="Get it!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbsups.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Apples</p>
<p>Pancake Batter (about 3/4 of a cup or so per Apple)</p>
<p>A few drops of Syrup for inside the Apples!</p>
<p>Butter, Syrup and Cinnamon for topping!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbbet.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16659 size-full" title="Oooh!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbbet.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="682" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Slice off a thin slice of the stem end of the apple and with an Apple Corer/Melon baller/scooper-out-thingy, gently scoop out just the seeds/core and toss it!</p>
<p>Then continue scooping until most BUT NOT ALL of the Apple is out~ leave approx. 1/8&#8243; of an edge on the inside of the Apple for stability!  Very carefully, and only if necessary, slice off some of the bottom of the Apple so it sits evenly.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbcore.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16660 size-full" title="scoop!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbcore.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Chop up the scooped out Apple middles (minus the seeds of course)</p>
<p>Now mix up the Pancake batter according to your box instructions, and add in all the Apple middles&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbmix.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16661 size-full" title="mixin'" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbmix.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Pour a couple of drops of Maple Syrup down into the bottom of the Apples&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbsyrup.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16662 size-full" title="Syrup in!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbsyrup.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Sprinkle a dash of Cinnamon in the batter and mix it all up…</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbcinn.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16663 size-full" title="Cinnamon!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbcinn.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Add the batter into each of your Apples, about 3/4 of the way up!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbfill.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16664 size-full" title="fill 'em up!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbfill.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Place them on a sheet pan and bake them at 350 degrees for approx. 20 minutes, or until the Apples are tender and the pancake batter is golden and firm all the way through&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbbake.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16665 size-full" title="ready to bake!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbbake.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="644" /></a></p>
<p>Let them cool slightly&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbcool.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16666 size-full" title="cooling!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbcool.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="637" /></a></p>
<p>BUT//serve them warm with some maple syrup&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbplate.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-16667" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbplate.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="670" /></a></p>
<p>And maple butter&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbserve.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16668 size-full" title="butter!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbserve.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="743" /></a></p>
<p>And cinnamon, if you so choose!</p>
<p>Now dig into the most tender pancakey, sweet appley, warm mapley goodness!  ~Enjoy! 🙂</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbbite.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-16669 size-full" title="bite it!" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/psbbite.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="634" /></a></p>

<p>I&#8217;m wide awake and here to tell you that I think this is my ultimate FAVORITE way to eat an Apple, and I don&#8217;t think I will ever be able to eat Apples any other way ever again!  🙂</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbamid2.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13804" title="YES!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbamid2.jpg" width="900" height="711" /></a></p>
<p>~The Maple glazed Bacon literally shrink wraps itself around that sweet, juicy Apple and creates a one-of-a-kind Apple eating experience…TRUST ME on this one!  Pop some of these in the oven, and the smell alone will draw a crowd.  Serve them up and watch out…it&#8217;s a life changing experience.  🙂</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbab4.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13805" title="Need it!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbab4.jpg" width="900" height="820" /></a></p>
<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need for 4-6 Apples:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbasups.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13806" title="Get it!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbasups.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>1 lb. of Bacon..I used thin cut</p>
<p>4-6 Apples..depending on size~  Your fave Apple variety will work!</p>
<p>1 cup Maple Syrup</p>
<p>Sticks/Skewers..one per each Apple</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbabet.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13807" title="Mmm!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbabet.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Wrap each Apple with 2-3 slices of Bacon, and secure gently with a skewer.  This is so the Bacon stays in place as it cooks around the Apple and doesn&#8217;t slip off as it gets hot in the oven.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbasticks.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13808" title="Sticks!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbasticks.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Brush the Bacon wrapped Apples with the Maple Syrup~  reserve some for basting during the baking process&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbamaple.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13809" title="SYRUP!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbamaple.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Place the Apples on a sheet pan and bake them at 400 fro approx. 45 minutes.  The time will vary depending on the size of your Apples and thickness of your Bacon so keep a close eye on them.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbaoven.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13810" title="Take a peek!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbaoven.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Baste them every 10 minutes or so with more Maple Syrup to get them SUPER sticky sweet, and dark!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbaplate.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13811" title="That's right!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbaplate.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>They&#8217;re done when they&#8217;re dark, tender and smell amazing.  Let them cool!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbacool.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13812" title="Let them cool~ they're HOT!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbacool.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>Remove the skewers…and now you can serve them up…BUT, serve them warm.  🙂</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbaserve.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13813" title="YUM!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbaserve.jpg" width="900" height="600" /></a></p>
<p>And be sure to grab one for YOU!  ~Enjoy!  🙂</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbabite.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13814" title="YOURS!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/bbabite.jpg" width="900" height="794" /></a></p>

<p>I&#8217;ve never been much of a baked apple person, something about the mushy Apples that should be in a Pie but aren&#8217;t, just never did it for me.  BUT, like magic&#8230;add some Butter, Caramel, Toffee Bits and of course&#8230;Booze and now~NOW I suddenly love them!  😉</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tamid1.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11363" title="YES, Please!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tamid1-650x584.jpg" width="650" height="584" /></a></p>
<p>These super simple stacks will make everyone feel like they&#8217;re in a five star Bed &amp; Breakfast, or at the very least, a warm, cozy holiday dinner with ALL of  the family gathered around not arguing at all!  Feel free to add extra Bourbon for the family dinner scenario&#8230;jussst kidding!</p>
<p>Anyway, you get the idea&#8230;.minimal effort/maximum result~ as usual!  🙂</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tab4.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11365" title="Sooo good!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tab4-650x428.jpg" width="650" height="428" /></a></p>
<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need for 4 succulent Apple stacks:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tasups.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11366" title="Your Go-Gets!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tasups-650x433.jpg" width="650" height="433" /></a></p>
<p>4 medium Apples&#8230;your favorite variety</p>
<p>1/4 cup Toffee Bits&#8230;for topping</p>
<p>1/2 cup Caramel Sauce divided~~1/4 cup for the simmer sauce and 1/4 cup for the topping.</p>
<p>A baking dish..</p>
<p><strong>The simmer sauce:</strong></p>
<p>4 tablespoons Butter</p>
<p>2 tablespoons Bourbon</p>
<p>1/4 cup Caramel&#8230;I used store bought~</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tabet.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11370" title="YUM!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tabet-650x543.jpg" width="650" height="543" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Peel and core the Apples&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tapeel.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11367" title="Core~Peel &amp; Slice" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tapeel-650x433.jpg" width="650" height="433" /></a></p>
<p>Slice each Apple horizontally into 4 or 5 slices.  Then reassemble them into a stack.</p>
<p>Now make the simmer sauce&gt; in a medium pot, melt the Butter into the Bourbon and 1/4 cup Caramel Sauce until well combined&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tamelt.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11369" title="Boozy Butter!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tamelt-650x433.jpg" width="650" height="433" /></a></p>
<p>Pour the Sauce over each of the Apples, making sure to coat them all as evenly as possible&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tapour.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11368" title="Pour it on!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tapour-650x433.jpg" width="650" height="433" /></a></p>
<p>Bake them at 375 degrees for about 60 minutes, or until fork tender.  <em><strong>Baste every 15 minutes with the butter mixture drippings in the baking dish.  I even separated the slices to roll them around in the sauce..then re-stacked them to serve~I like all that sauce!</strong></em></p>
<p>Serve them in pretty stacks and add some of the reserved Caramel right over the top~and a sprinkling of Toffee Bits for that sweet crunch&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tacaramel.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11371" title="A little extra Caramel never hurt anyone!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/tacaramel-650x433.jpg" width="650" height="433" /></a></p>
<p>They&#8217;re too good not to share&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/taserve.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11372" title="Gimme!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/taserve-650x531.jpg" width="650" height="531" /></a></p>
<p>So grab a pretty plate&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/taplate.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11373" title="Plate it up!" alt="" src="http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/taplate-650x433.jpg" width="650" height="433" /></a></p>
