FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS…

In February 2010, Justin Comparetto with his grandpa Joe, loaded his Hyundai with imported olives and a few other products and began calling on green markets and small grocers in South Florida.

Joe was retired and his grandson was struggling in real estate, which was in a serious downturn at the time. Joe’s friend ran a successful import and manufacturing business in Canada and had been trying to convince Joe to bring his products into the United States. Wanting to “give a hand up rather than a hand out” (and spend more time with his grandson) Joe enjoyed mentoring Justin as they worked to establish a customer base. Within a few months, they recruited Ryan Braun, a cousin to join in the venture.

Specializing in imported Italian fine foods, the entrepreneurs started with just 12 products and now offer more than 2,000 items including vinegars, olive oil, cookies and biscuits, canned goods, cheese and pasta. During the first few years in business they weathered many challenges as they learned the intricacies of food importing and USDA regulations. Under Joe’s guidance, the two cousins built an Italian and Mediterranean food distribution network throughout South Florida that now spans from Melbourne to Miami and across to Naples and Tampa. Doing business as South Florida Imports, they named their company Just Ryt Foods,Inc.

In 2014 they launched their own retail brand label, Giusto Sapore, (joos-stǒ sa-ṕo-ṝe) Italian for Just the Right Flavor and word-play on the company name. Justin is company president with Ryan as vice president for this jointly-owned family business. They recently doubled their warehouse to accommodate future growth as they continue to expand their distribution area. Sadly, in April 2016, Joe had a sudden heart attack and passed away. Yet his wisdom and many business lessons will guide the young entrepreneurs for years to come.

Giusto Sapore products can be found in specialty food stores throughout South Florida as well as sold to restaurants throughout the area. In late 2016, the company introduced its full line of balsamic and sweet fruit vinegars into the upscale Harris Teeter supermarkets serving the mid-Atlantic region.

It’s finally happened!  Coffee and Cinnamon Rolls have officially joined together in Holy ‘Breakfastmony’, and now we can all live happily ever after!  What better way can there be, than to wake up and face the day with a sticky, sweet jolt of Espresso filled Cinnamon Rolls?!

These Rolls are filled with the perky crunch of Chocolate covered Espresso Beans and then slathered with Espresso Bean Frosting~GOOD MORNING!

What you’ll need:

1 Container of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls (8 count)

1/2 cup of Chocolate covered Esrpesso Beans…crushed

Directions:

Crush up the Beans…

Remove the Cinnamon Rolls in one roll, trying not to separate them.  Unroll the rolls together and evenly sprinkle half of the crushed Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans onto the Rolls…

Roll them bak up and place them individually into your baking pan.  Bake them at 350 degrees, for about 12 minutes..or until they’re puffy and slightly golden.

Make the Frosting while they bake.  Just combine the remaining crushed Espresso Beans with the included Frosting, set aside…

Let the Rolls cool…

Slather some of that Java Chip Frosting all over the warm Rolls…

And enjoy the tastiest way to wake up EVER!  ~Enjoy!  🙂

For me a warm beverage in a giant mug isn’t just comforting and delicious, but it’s almost ritualistic!  Just the process of preparing it and knowing that some soothing relaxation are only moments away, somehow warms the soul!

It’s always nice when something comes along to add to the charm of a hot cup of coffee, cocoa or tea.

Something that adds interest and flavor, without taking away any of the simplicity!  That’s what these adorable swizzlers do for me.  So simple yet so charming, and yum..what a warm & subtle flavor they add to the background of your hot drink!

Make a batch of these and keep them on your coffee/tea counter ready to grab!  Whimsical flavor is only a swizzle stir away!  ~Enjoy!  🙂

What you’ll need:

Cinnamon sticks (I found these extra long ones at the dollar store..but regular size will work too!)

Milk Chocolate and/or White Chocolate Almond Bark for melting..not shown

Goodies to roll them around in: Hot cocoa powder, raw sugar & honey, cocoa & chili powder for Mexican Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Cocoa..anything you can think of!

So fun & yummy in the tummy! 🙂

Directions:

Melt your chocolate

Dip the ends of the cinnamon sticks into the melted chocolate & roll them around in the goodies..let them set up, and you’re ready to take your coffee, tea or cocoa to another level of enjoyment!  🙂

Grab-Stir-Sip-Enjoy..Repeat!
