I keep seeing these “Better Than Sex Cakes” all over the place!  But let’s be honest, have you really ever had cake that’s better than sex?  First of all, if the cake you’re eating is seriously better than sex, put that fork down and go find yourself a new ‘treat’, PRONTO…lol!

Second of all, if the cake you’re eating is reeeally better than sex..go ahead and click on the tab at the top of my page that says “Contact”, see it up there? ..Email me the recipe for that cake like right now..go..go!  HAHA!  🙂

As good as this cake is, I will NEVER claim that it’s better than sex!  I’ll leave that up to you, and your possibly very disappointed partner to decide!  😉  All I can say is that this cake does have the power to find your ‘YUM’ spot with the very first bite!  You could totally find yourself reaching for it in the middle of the night.  And you may over-indulge and totally regret it in the morning! Yeah, that’s right!  🙂

Especially after two fluffy layers of cake are coated in Milk Chocolate Fudge Frosting, held tightly together by dark, thick Ganache & a sticky pile of crushed “satisfying” Snicker’s Bars!  Only to be topped off with even more Milk Chocolate Fudge Frosting, another pouring of Ganache and yep, even more Snickers..hold me!

Whew..maybe I need to revise the name of this cake?  LOL!

The good news is..you can’t drunk text this cake!  Well, I guess you could..I’m sure it wouldn’t tell anyone!  😉

What you’ll need for at least one walk of shame out of your kitchen:

1 Box of White Cake Mix

2 Fluffy White containers of Frosting

1/2 a cup of hot Fudge Sauce

3-4 Chopped up Snicker’s Bars

1 Cup Heavy Cream

2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

2-9″ cake pans

Directions:

Bake the Cakes according to the box instructions for the 9″ size pans, let them cool completely!

While they’re baking away, chop up the those appropriately named “Satisfying” Snicker’s Bars into small chunks, eat a few pieces & set aside…

Mix together the Hot Fudge Sauce into the 2 containers of White Frosting, until it’s a light chocolate color and kind of swirly…

Make the Glossy Ganache:  In a medium sauce pot, bring the cream to just boiling, take it off of the heat and stir in the Vanilla & Chocolate Chips.  Stir until it’s thick, glossy & smooth, set it aside to cool…

When the cakes have cooled, turn them out of their pans.  Place the bottom cake layer onto its serving platter and frost it by covering the entire cake with the Milk Chocolate Fudge Frosting and a nice drizzle of the Glossy Ganache..

Then top it with 3/4 of the crushed Snicker’s, this will be the satisfying center or the cake…

Gently place the unfrosted top cake layer onto the frosted bottom cake, and repeat the frosting and Ganache process..top the cake with the remaining crushed Snicker’s bars!

Now you’re ready to serve it up and see for yourself if this cake is better than sex..or not!  LOL!

In the name of science, take a nice big bite..this is research after all!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
