Paleo Powder is a line of great tasting, versatile, diet-specific all-purpose seasoning blends formulated to enhance the flavor of almost any dish without the unhealthy ingredients and disruptive additives found in most seasoning blends. We exist to provide the everyday home cook flavorful, one-stop, healthy seasoning blends.
What makes our seasoning Paleo? Unlike most seasoning blends, Paleo Powder seasonings do not contain unhealthy ingredients (like sugar) or disruptive additives (like silicon dioxide used to prevent clumping) and are produced in a facility where there is no chance of wheat, milk, soy or other non-Paleo contamination.
Our conventional products include Paleo Powder Original, Paleo Powder Pink (made with Himalayan pink salt), Paleo Powder Salt Free, Paleo Powder Herbed Salt Free, Paleo Powder AIP and Paleo Powder FODMAP.
Our certified organic products include Organic Paleo Powder Pink, Organic Paleo Powder Herbed Salt Free and Organic Paleo Powder AIP.
All of our blends are MSG free, gluten free, Certified Paleo, Whole30 Approved and GO TEXAN. We are independently owned and operated.
Our blends are produced by Southern Style Spices in Manor, Texas. All spices and herbs are non-irradiated; contain no anti-caking agents, no artificial colors and no MSG; are all natural and pure as defined by The Pure Food and Drug Act; and ingredients are cleaned without the use of chemicals, continually inspected by trained staff and milled to exact specifications to ensure purity, consistency, color, and taste.
AND THIS IS HOW IT ALL CAME TO BE…
By my late 20s, after years of playing Texas football and eating Texas BBQ, I weighed more than 300 pounds, and my unhealthy eating habits were having real, undesirable effects on my life. In 2010, I started doing CrossFit and quickly saw improvements in my fitness level, but I still needed to address my eating habits. I chose to follow a Paleo lifestyle and within a year, I lost more than 50 pounds. I had found a lifestyle that helped me drop fat and gain muscle…while still allowing me to enjoy Texas BBQ.
In fact, it was that love for Texas BBQ that led me to create Paleo Powder. As I looked at seasoning blends I had traditionally used to flavor my BBQ, I realized all of them contained MSG, gluten or some unhealthy ingredient or additive. I realized I was going to have to make my own – and Paleo Powder Seasoning was born.
Beyond my BBQ, Paleo Powder offered an easy way for my family to make all the healthy meals we cook at home taste as great as they are for us, and I hope to bring that same convenience and flavor to the entire healthy living community.
