I confess, that in the world of candy choices, I will dig around through piles of Tootsie Rolls to get down to the Kit Kats! Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate a good old Tootsie Roll now and then, but they always leave me pondering that nagging question, “hmm..am I in the mood right now to chew, and chew, and chew…and, chew?” Usually not, even though I really love that one of a kind Tootsie Roll flavor! Well, I think this recipe solves all of my dilemmas, and it’s so easy and simple.
It’s a smooth as silk, packed with flavor, and oh-so-spoonable Tootsie Roll Mousse! It’s so thick and creamy, yet somehow still has that classic chewy feel to it, even though it’s not chewy at all!
For a unique way to enjoy all the greatness of a classic Tootsie Roll, and none of the missing fillings, give this a try!
What you’ll need:
40 mini Tootsie Rolls (midgees)
1-14oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 container of Cool Whip Topping..reserve about a 1/2 cup for garnish
Directions:
In a medium sauce pot add the sweetened condensed milk and all the unwrapped tootsie rolls, melt them together over medium heat, stirring constantly!

And yet… Another winner!! When is a cook book coming????
