Sooo~  I just really wanted to make a giant Cronut..that’s all!  And here we are!

I wanted to CRO something big, something worthy of a cake stand, and napkins!  I CRO’d an entire bundt cake!  That’s right…take that you little doughnuts you.  😉

This Bundt cake is so buttery and so amazing, if you can imagine that Cronut only LARGER~  you have this!

A giant multi-layered (like hundreds of gooey layers), buttery crescent, that’s coated in sweet cinnamon sugar and dahh-ripping in that authentic Maple Glaze!  Now you can feed a small CRO-army..or just a hungry CRO-you, with one lovely large CroBundt!

What you’ll need:

2 containers of Pillsbury Crescent Seamless Dough Sheets..regular crescent will work too, just pinch together the seams!

2 cups of Butter…softened

Pastry Cream (vanilla pudding) ..optional, I didn’t use it, but if you’d like, just layer some in there!

1 cup Cinnamon/Sugar

A Bundt pan

The Maple Glaze:

1 cup Powdered Sugar

A few splashes of Maple Syrup

Directions:

Spray the bundt pan with non stick spray and set aside.

Roll out one of the Crescent sheets, just to even it out and then spread a nice and even layer of softened butter all over it~

Sprinkle the butter with some cinnamon sugar and fold the dough in half.  Now repeat, butter, cinnamon sugar…roll to even it out.  Set it aside.

Do the same thing with the other Crescent dough sheet.

Place the buttered and cinnamon’d dough sheets on top of each other and gently roll them, so that they become one.

Cut an “X” in the center of the dough, creating a hole.  Place it gently over the center of the bundt pan and press to even it out.  It will be a square going into a circle, but just form the edges evenly around and it will be just fine!

Now Bake it at 350 f0r approx. 15-20 minutes, or until it’s golden and firm.

While it’s baking, make the Maple Glaze by mixing the Powdered Sugar with some Maple Syrup just until you reach a thick and smooth consistency…

Take it out of the oven and let it cool…

Flip it out onto your serving plate…

And now it’s time for the BEST part EVERrrr…time for the glaze!  Be generous, this takes it over the ‘Cro’-top..lol!

Actually, the best part just might be ALL the layers…Lots & Lots of buttery layers!

Grab a plate and get your CRO on in style…

BUNDT CAKE STYLE!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
