OMGosh~  You might want to sit down before you read on or be prepared for your head to spin!  If you love brownies, if you love Oreos, if you’re alive…you are about to be blown the heck away!  I’ve raised the brownie bar so high that it’s almost impossible to get your lips around  it..lol!

These brownies talk the talk and walk the walk as they’re completely stuffed with crushed OREOS and slathered with a double stuff layer of that classic OREO ‘Stuf’ ..stuff!

~And let me tell you..this filling tastes exactly like that magnificent center of our favorite cookie!

Make sure not to have any spoons around when you make this filling because you will polish off the entire bowl of it before any makes it inside the brownies.  😉

Each chewy and chocolaty, oreo filled brownie is balanced by a thick layer of the creamiest, sweetest, authentic tasting OREO filling ever!  You will be a rockstar to anyone you grace with these brownies…trust me! 🙂

What you’ll need:

10×15 sheet pan or jelly roll pan

1 box of brownie mix

20 Original OREOS..crushed

The Filling:

1/4 cup veg shortening, butter will work, but the filling WILL NOT BE WHITE (therefore I didn’t use butter as shown)

1 tsp. granulated sugar

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 tsp Vanilla for flavor ..Using this will also dull the white color (I did not use this as shown)..you can use a clear extract as well!

3 Tbsp. HOT water

Directions:

Mix up the brownie batter according to the box instructions… I used a hand mixer, but not necessary!

Crush the OREOS..a processor worlds great for this…

Stir the OREO crumbs directly into the brownie batter…

Now, spread the batter evenly onto the sprayed and lined with parchment pan.  It doesn’t have to be perfect, it will bake up and be just fine in the end!

Bake it at 350 degrees, for approx. 25 minutes, or until the brownies are cooked through.

While the brownie sheet is cooking, make the Double ‘STUF’~

In a large bowl, combine the shortening, granulated sugar, and hot water.   Use an electric hand mixer to blend that together and slowly add in all the powdered sugar!  Now you can add the Vanilla if you’d like, but remember..your filling won’t be “double Stuf” white.

Mix until smooth and fluffy…

Let the brownies cool completely before cutting the sheet evenly in half… now you have a top layer and a bottom layer!

Now, gently spread the ‘Stuf’ onto one layer of the brownies… damp fingers works the BEST for this!

Top it with the other brownie half and cut it up into squares.

There are plenty to go around!  BUT..they go fast, so grab a few for you!  ~Enjoy! 🙂
