Have you ever found yourself curious, confused, disgusted, and interested.. all at the same time?  If not, well.. this recipe might not might change that.  Those of you who are the daring and proud pb & pickle sandwich eaters, this is the recipe for YOU!

If ever there was a combo that will get you the side-eye from all who witness you enjoying it.. it’s this one..lol.  However, what fun is it to simply judge something that we’ve never actually tried?  I mean, if we’re gonna complain, we should at least earn the right to do so, by doing something we don’t want to do trying it ourselves!  🙂

I’ve made that a little easier for myself us here by taking all things PB & Pickle and frying it up until it tastes good..haha.  And when I say it tastes good.. I’m not joking.  The sweet and savory, crispy, deep fried version of this mash-up is nothing short of yummy.  I cant tell you why, I can’t explain it.. and I’d never admit it to anyone but you.. (SHhh).. it’s just yummy.

Give it a try for yourself.. and let me know if you agree!  🙂

What you’ll need:

Pickle chips.. your fave variety!

1 tsp. peanut butter per bite.. your fave brand!

wonton/egg roll wrappers.. one per bite

1 egg with a splash of water

oil for frying

Directions:

Now, group together 2 like-sized pickles and set them onto the paper towel.

Dry off the pickles very well…

Placing them between two paper towels works best…

Smear on of the pickles with peanut butter…

And top it with its twin sized pickle..

Place them in the freezer.. for at least one hour…

Wrap them inside one (a whole wrapper NOT half as shown) of the wonton wrappers and secure with the egg wash… making sure to seal them up very well…

Fry them one at a time in the hot (350 degree) oil

..just until golden,,  IT GOES FAST!

Serve them warm…

So they’re ooey-gooey delicious!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
