Now for the Apple Crisp Pasta Pie recipe:
What you’ll need:
An 8″ springform pie pan
1-8oz. box of Tresomega Quinoa Pasta
1-20oz. can of apple pie filling
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp, ground nutmeg
1 cup cream
1 tbsp. Tresomega Coconut Oil
For the “crisp”
1 cup ap flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tbsp. white sugar
caramel topping … optional
Boil the pasta and set it aside to cool.
Chop up the apple pie filling into bite-size bites…
Add it into a small bowl and mix in the spices…
Add spiced/chopped apples, and the coconut oil into the cooled boiled pasta…
Mix the egg…
And in the egg into the cooled pasta/apples, and mix well to combine…
Now, pour it all into the pan, making sure it’s packed in there and evenly flat on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 40 minutes, or until it’s golden and firm all the way through.
While it’s baking, make the crumble:
In a med. bowl, combine the flour, butter, brown sugar, and white sugar…
using your fingers works well to create those delicious clumps of crumble.
Let the pie cool slightly.. and add the crumnble…
Sprinkling it evenly all over that beauty…
Let it cool just a bit before slicing, so all that goodness can melt together…
And then admire the gorgeousness…
then.. slice into it and plate that baby UP…
Drizzle with some caramel topping, if you so choose.. and serve to your most favorite people…
LOTS of them…
But don’t forget about YOU.. DIG IN! ~Enjoy! 🙂
