Yay for Sliders!!

How great is it, turning otherwise large portions into a 1 or 2 bite, couch friendly wonder?!  I mean, why have more dirty dishes, utensils, and dinner table conversations than necessary? 😉

Why go to the food, when the food can go to you?  Besides, it’s football season and those who love you will understand, if not right away, then after they try one of these..for sure!
They’re the most delicious appetizers, or TV snacks ever! 🙂

Awww..sooo cute!!

I found these teeny tiny, adorable potatoes and just had to put them to use..I had no choice!  Just look at how cute & small they are!—>

You can literally enjoy everything about a fully loaded baked potato, with almost no fat or calories!  Provided you have some self control and don’t eat 45 of them! 🙂

They are so easy to prepare..here’s how!

All the yummy fixin’s!

 What you’ll need:

Itty bitty potatoes..I found the Green Giant brand of Klondike Gourmet at Walmart.  $3.95 for the bag!
All the toppings;
Sour Cream (I used fat free)
Green Onions or Chives
Shredded Cheddar
And of course..Bacon (already crisped up)!
I ended up not using the toothpicks! 🙂

Directions:

Olive Oil Shower! 🙂

In a large Ziplock bag add the potatoes and a drizzle of olive oil, S&P..rub the potatoes around in the bag until evenly coated!

Bake them on a baking sheet at 400 degrees, for about 45 minutes, until they are golden and tender!
They will shrink a bit in the oven and become even a little smaller…too adorable!

Let them cool slightly, cut a small slit in the top and open them up just enough to fill them up with all the toppings!
I added the shredded cheese first, so it would melt down into the warm potato!
They will be soft and creamy and the crispy salt and pepper skin adds an amazing flavor!

Now your plate is ready to go from full to empty in 60 seconds!!

Make more than you think you’ll need!

~Enjoy!  🙂
