Last year at this time, I discovered an incredible way to enjoy Hot Apple Cider even more than I normally do!  Simply by adding some Red Hots down into the mug!’s crazy that such a minor addition, makes such a huge difference..but it does!  And of course..I couldn’t just leave it at that, nope!  I had to go and turn that amazing flavor combo into!    
These cupcakes are filled with actual Apple Cider and are super moist!  The Red Hots melt into the batter creating the perfect marriage of delicious cinnamon-spice and scrumptious cake! 
To top it off, the rich vanilla frosting is dusted with cinnamon sugar!  All I can say is, if you love cinnamon, apple cider, spice and cupcakes give these a will adore them!

What you’ll need:
1 box of White cake mix (any brand)
1 cup of Red Hots..and a handful for garnish
2 Apple Cider packets
1 Container vanilla frosting
Cinnamon sugar (for garnish)
Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
Prepare the cake mix, but add in the 2 Apple Cider packets..and an extra splash of water.
Mix in the Red Hots and bake them up!
Frost with the vanilla frosting and top with a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar and more Red Hots!
Take a moment and enjoy the amazing smells coming from your kitchen..ok, now eat a cupcake!  ~Enjoy! 
*HINT*  For an extra somethin’-somethin’, add a drizzle of caramel over the top..or for less mess, use some of those little caramel chips in the batter..Mmm!  🙂
