I have to start by saying that if you’ve never mixed a scoop of peanut butter into your chocolate cake batter, leave your computer, drop that ipad, put down your phone..go straight to the nearest kitchen and make it happen!  It took me waaay too many years to discover this indescribable combination!

It was all I could do to save enough batter to actually produce some cupcakes..lol!   If I wasn’t setting an example for my daughter, I’d have parked myself on the couch with the bowl of batter and an optional spoon..turned on “Chopped” and turned off my phone..LOL!  Reality didn’t allow for such a fantasy..thank God!  🙂

But why in the world would I stop at peanut butter and chocolate, when it’s so easy to take them to an even higher level with the addition of warm, soft and chewy Caramel Bits suspended throughout the cake & Heath crumbles all over the top?!  These are so thick, moist & slightly chewy..just amazingly delicious!

Hurry..go get bakin’! 😉

What you’ll need:

Chocolate cake mix

1/2 cup of Caramel Bits

1/2 cup Peanut Butter

Chocolate frosting

Toffee bits, or a crushed up Heath bar

A miracle, so you don’t drink all of the batter with a straw!  😉

Directions:

In a medium bowl mix up the batter and stir in the peanut butter

Gently fold the caramel bits into the batter

Bake the cupcakes, let them cool and top them with the frosting, a dollop of peanut butter and some Heath crumbles!

This cupcake is worthy of a fork & manners..unless of course, you’re alone!  ~Enjoy!  🙂
