If you’re an Avocado lover like I am, this recipe will be a tasty game changer for you and could quite possibly become your new family favorite~!
I can’t even believe it took me THIS long to come up with a way to enjoy a warm, buttery Avocado Biscuit.
There’s nothing quite like these fluffy, tender, buttery, flavor-filled biscuits. These babies are definitely for the avocado LOVER, their avocado flavor is super intense, and very earthy in their essence.. very rich, and almost grassy in flavor, with no doubt that they’re AVOCADO all the way! SO you’ve been deliciously warned. 🙂
The butter is totally necessary to balance out the strong avocado flavors.. with that creamy, buttery-butter ..only butter can give..lol! ..a dash of salt is all the POW they need, and you’ll LOVE THEM, each warm, tender bite of them!
What you’ll need:
2 medium (or one large) avocados…ripe
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
A muffin pan
non-stick spray
Directions:
In a food processor combine the avocados and the milk, until smooth…
Then add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, until it forms a doughy batter…
Scoop some batter 3/4 of the way into each non-stick SPRAYED muffin tin…
Bake them at 350 degrees for approx. 20 minutes, OR until they’re fully cooked through and slightly golden…
Let them cool a bit before removing them..
Butter them up…
Eat them up! ~Enjoy! : )
These look delicious! Can they be made with almond flour or oat flour?
I haven’t tried it, but don’t see why not.. 🙂
Have you tried using prepared guacamole to make spicy muffins? Also, how many muffins does your basic recipe make?
Thanks.
