You know those times when you’re in the kitchen, staring into the fridge looking for answers? Those moments when you want something.. anything to snack on, but you have no idea what it is?
It was that exact moment for me.. that brought use here together, right now.
Yep~ I saw some lonely bacon in there, and I knew that deep inside the cavernous depths of my pantry, I had my emergency stash of ROLO’s!
The time had come to create what ended up being one of the most strange, yet delectable, most satisfying snacks I’ve ever snuck into my mouth before anyone could
judge me see me do it.
Behold~ ROLO BACON BOMS!
The perfect combo of salty, sweet, crispy, chewy, chocolaty, warm, melty-caramely goodness known to mankind..lol. Each little ROLO-filled bacon bomb, sends your senses soaring into the stratosphere… and beyond.
These bomb-babies will explode, and then, as if they’re messing with your head, .. gently & slowly melt loads of deliciously dangerous ROLO-caramel in your mouth, and deep into your soul, // oh, you can try, but there’s nowhere to hide… take cover and protect your waistline.
What you’ll need:
Bacon .. THIN sliced!! 1/2 slice per bomb
ROLOS! .. one ROLO per bomb
oil for frying
On a sheet pan, lay out the ROLOS and freeze them for one hour – over night
Cut the bacon slices evenly in half, and roll one ROLO inside, making sure to cover the ROLO completely! Secure with a toothpick..
Fry them one at a time in the hot (350 degree) oil until the bacon is golden and the ROLO is still in tact… this goes FAST!
Serve them warm, ,, with napkins! And DIG IN! ~Enjoy! 🙂
