It’s that time of the year again! The snow starts melting, the birds start chirping, and the the cadbury creme eggs start hatching..

Yep, it’s Easter.. the gateway to Spring, and the day we can eat all the chocolate celebrate!

What better way to celebrate than with …. DOUGHNUTS?!

Not just any doughnuts, I’m talking about warm, gooey, cadbury creme egg filled doughnuts! There are no words, just do this.. go, goooo! 🙂

What you’ll need for 8 doughnuts:

1 container of Pilsbury grands biscuits (8 count)

8 regular size Cadbury Creme Eggs

oil for frying

powdered sugar for dusting

Directions:

Cut a small slice into the biscuit dough, and insert one cadbury creme egg…

Now, carefully seal the dough evenly around the egg, making sure to seal it VERY well…

Fry them up in the hot (350 degree) oil, just until they’re puffed, and evenly golden on all sides…

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve them warm! ~Enjoy! 🙂
