Meet Boushelle –
In late April 2020, I launched our new modern wellness brand, Hudson and James. This vision has evolved over time because I enjoy the process of lifelong learning…always setting goals for myself and seeking answers.
The Backstory
I began growing my creative career expertly styling hair and makeup for countless magazine covers, editorial advertising, and fashion shows in New York City. My portfolio includes a wide range of men, women, and children who modeled over the course of my 35-year journey. During my career, I had purchased an enormous amount of high-end beauty products. The packaging of the products was stunning and they did the job to perfection, but over the years I began reading the labels of the skincare, make-up, and hair products that were in my overflowing hair and makeup bags and, as Oprah would say, I had an aha moment!
An awareness had come over me and I questioned everything that I was using on the models and on my own skin. Since I was a teenager, I had been mindful of the importance of eating organic, now it only seemed natural (pardon the pun) that my beauty and household products be held up to the same non-toxic standard?
It was important to me to become part of the solution and I needed to join the trajectory by formulating a powerful, ethical, organic skincare and supplement brand. With many years of experience applying products to some of the most recognized faces in the world, I knew I could improve the quality of everyday skincare while also delivering the same great results. Slowly the world was waking up to the idea of clean brands that did not jeopardize our health and wellbeing or that of the planet.
Our Hudson and James brand utilizes collaborative principles of Ayurvedic, Eastern, and Western ideologies along with scientific-based studies to guide the ingredient profiles and philosophies of our wellness products. They are all cruelty-free, tested on friends and family, never on animals!
Our current line of products includes clean collagen, supplements, and skincare that will never make you choose between health and results or between natural and high-performing. We combat health and beauty issues from the inside AND the outside. We promise to formulate every product you use on or in your body without compromise.
