Wait~~don’t leave, I promise that even though this sounds insane, and crazy, and totally bad for you, that it’s really just regular Pancakes & Bacon taken to the next level! And by “next level” I mean the highest food level possible, that level where everything is fried…yep, that’s the one…lol! 🙂
All kidding aside, these Pancakey, Bacony Breakfast Bites are like Funnel Cake with Bacon inside! Honestly, if Heaven had a flavor, this would be it!
Anyone who dares to take one bite of these crunchy, sweet Bacon sticks of salty/sweet satisfaction, will love them…if they say they don’t love them, obviously they’re lying…toss them a Carrot! 😉
Dip them, dunk them, drizzle them with some Maple Syrup and you’ll see what I mean~!
What you’ll need:
1 lb. of Crispy Bacon
1 cup Pancake Mix
1 cup PLUS 1 tbsp. of Water
Oil for frying..I used Canola
Maple Syrup for dipping, dunking and duh…drizzling! 🙂
Directions:
Mix up the Pancake Mix (Batter)
Dip each slice of Crispy Bacon into the Pancake Batter and coat it evenly…
Fry them up until they’re golden, and drain on a paper towel.
Serve them up nice and warm…do your best to share!
Plunge them deep into a nice, tall glass of Syrup…
Prepare for the BEST Pancake/Bacon combo EVER! ~Enjoy! 🙂

I love your recipes, but is there anyway to put it on the page so if you print it it doesn’t take so many sheets of paper? I know, I should just put them under recipes in my computer. If I do that, I don’t know what I have in there. It’s much easier for me to print them out and put them in a binder. That’s my only comment. Your recipes are fabulous!!!!

I made this recipe and it tasted delicious but the batter came off a little bit while it fried. Then it came off more when I was eating it. I was wondering if your batter was thicker than the normal pancake batter.. Mine was slightly loose. Thanks Sarah

Either the batter wasn’t thick enough, or the oil wasn’t quite hot enough… You don’t have to have a thick layer of batter on the bacon for it to work..but the batter does have to be the right consistency. Hope you try again! 🙂
