What you’ll need:

Original Fig Newtons (or any flavor you’d like)

Bacon

Instructions:

Slice the bacon in half, and wrap one slice around one Fig Newton. Secure with a toothpick and place on a sheet pan. Bake them at 350 degrees for approx. 15 minutes, or just until the bacon is cooked.

Serve them warm and crispy! DIG IN! ~Enjoy!

Imagine if you will, a culinary collision of the state fair and fall.  I’m talking about something fried like funnel cake, and something fall.. like apples..lol.

I’ve magically morphed our favorite fall fruit with our favorite fried fair fare and here we are.  .. Apple Stuffed Funnel Cake is not only easier to make than traditional funnel cake, it’s also SO much tastier. Each bite of that crispy funnel cake is only made better by a tender, sweet, apple surprise inside… topped with some powdered sugar, and a drizzle of caramel.. and you will be the MVP VIP of Fall dessert faves!

No only is this super impressive, it’s also incredibly easy.  Whip up a batch for that holiday party or dessert table, and have the recipe on hand.. trust me.  🙂

What you’ll need:

2 cups complete pancake mix

3 med/lg apples

2 tbsp. sugar

approx. 1 cup water (to proper consistency)

2 tsp. vanilla extract

powdered sugar and caramel for garnish..optional

A spiralizer is necessary for this recipe.. they’re a great, super versatile kitchen investment and very affordable (NOT SPONSORED.. just love it)  .. you can find them here >  SPIRALIZER!

Directions:

Spiralize those apples…

now place a pile of the apples into a flat circle approx. 3-5″ in diameter (funnel cake size..lol) …

Wrap each apple circle individually in plastic wrap…

stack ’em up and freeze those babies for at least 2 hours to whenever you’re ready to make them…

Now whip up the batter by mixing the pancake mix with the water, and the vanilla until it’s a cake-batter consistency…

When the apple circles are super solid…

Take only one out of the freezer at a time and gently coat it in the batter.. (THEY NEED TO STAY FROZEN UNTIL FRIED.. and they thaw SUPER FAST)

Fry them up just until evenly golden…

Drain them on a glass surface.. as they will stick to paper products~!  learned that the hard way..haha!

Let them cool…

Then top them with a nice dusting of traditional funnel cake flavor… powdered sugar…

And a drizzle of caramel.. if you’re so moved to do so…

A warm glazed sugar cookie, gets slightly crispy and chewy, as it lovingly snuggles a fluffy, cinnamony, cinnamon roll, in the most decadent, whimsical, and tasty, culinary-cooke collision EVER!

Make LOTS!

What you’ll need:

Sugar cookie dough

cinnamon rolls

a ‘cupcake-ish’ baking pan 

Instructions:

Slice the cookie dough into 2 approx. 1.8″ slices, and place a raw cinnamon roll between them, gently working the dough around the cinnamon roll with your *clean* hands…

Place each stuffed cookie into the pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 20  minutes, OR until they’re evenly golden and firm to the touch…

Let them cool, and drizzle them with the enclosed cinnamon roll icing…

So, I just learned about Fairy Bread (OH MY GOSH) 

.. and now I want to ‘Fairy’ all the things! Lucky us! 😉 

What you’ll need:

1 container of Pillsbury Flaky Layers Biscuits (8 count)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 cup dry Funfetti cake mix

2 eggs

1 16 oz. container of white frosting .. you may not use the entire container.

2 tbsp. sprinkles .. (plus one tbsp. set aside for topping)

A standard size bundt pan

Instructions:

cut each biscuit evenly into 4 pieces

In a large bowl, combine the cream, milk, eggs, cake mix, and 2 tbsp. sprinkles…

Gently fold the cut biscuits into the batter, making sure to coat them very well, let them sit for a few minutes, as you carefully keep them coated…

Pour the mixture into a bundt pan…

Bake it at 350 degrees for approx. 40 minutes, OR until it’s golden, and firm!

Let it cool…

…then release it from the pan

top it with the frosting…

and reserved sprinkles for CUTENESS!

Serve it up! ~Enjoy!

Well, I’ve officially run out of things I can say for myself, or for the crazy concoctions I come up with LOL.. so I’m just going to leave this here.

..short and sweet!

We have OREOS deep fried inside XXTRA Flamin’ Hot Cheetos – yep, that’s basically it! Have fun friends! 🙂

What you’ll need for 20 oreos: 

20 OREOS

2 cups of dry pancake mix

1 3/4 cup milk (give or take a little for a THIN pancake batter consistency)

2 cups crushed XXTRA Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

oil for frying

Directions:

Prepare the THIN pancake batter by adding the milk into the dry mix, and stirring until fully combined and smooth…

Crush up the Cheetos…

separate the crumbs and the batter…

Now, dip each oreo into the batter, and let the excess drip away…

Place the battered oreo into the crushed Cheetos, and coat generously…

And then into the hot (350 degree) oil…

Fry until firm and slightly golden and serve those bright and beautiful sweet & spicy babies up! ~Enjoy! 🙂

THESE beautiful babies are one of the very best tasting things I’ve EVER-everrrr made! What more can I say?

Just take 10 minutes, and GO do this.. then please come back here, or find me somewhere and let me know if you agree! That’s it.. go do this, goooo! 🙂

What you’ll need: 

1 container of Pillsbury crescent dough sheet

Ice cream.. approx. 1 tbsp. per popper

oil for frying

powdered and/or cinnamon/sugar for sugaring

sprinkles for sprinkling

Directions:

Roll out the dough sheet, and cut it into approx 2″ squares. Place a tbsp of your fave ice cream into the center…

Roll them up super tight…

Place them into the freezer as you heat up the oil to 350 degrees.

Fry them one at a time, until they’re evenly golden (this goes quickly) **AS SOON AS YOU FRY EACH ONE.. PUT THEM BACK INTO THE FREEZER UNTIL YOU’RE READY TO SERVE THEM!

Top them with some sugar or sprinkles because ummm.. CUTE!

And start POPPIN’! ~Enjoy! 🙂

Mooove OVER waffles.. fried chicken has upgraded!

Yep, that’s right… fried chicken has found a new, a softer, a sweeter, a fluffier, place to lay its head wing, and once you try this, there’s no going back to that regular-shmegular dry waffle! 

At first glance, this combo might seem a wee bit extra, BUT.. just give it one bite.. one savory, sweet, tender, crunchy bite~ and you too will be a new fan!

What you’ll need:

Uhhh.. you need fried chicken, and cinnamon rolls! mmhmm.. that’s IT!

Instructions:

Uhhh.. just stick some fresh fried chicken down into a fresh cinnamon roll, and drizzle the whole shebang with some cinnamon roll frosting. 

Serve warm, take a bite, die, go to heaven… repeat! ~Enjoy! 🙂

When you think of pickles, it’s not very often that we think outside the jar..haha. Until now, here I’ve simply added an extra element of sweetness AND fun, in the form of uhhmm.. tasty 7-UP!

Yes, you read that right- sweet, sparkling 7-UP! It adds such a whimsical and delicious depth of flavor to anything you decide to ‘pickle’! In this case, I chose to picklefy crisp apple slices, and spicy jalapenos- both of which are taken to a higher level of pickle, thanks to the surprisingly extra flavor that the 7-UP adds!

Kids love this, adults love this… everyone loves this! Make LOTS!

What you’ll need:

2-16 oz jars

ANY thinly sliced fruits or veggies that you like.. I used Jalapenos & Apple slices!

1 cup rice vinegar

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. salt

1-16.9 oz 7-UP

Directions:

In a med bowl, combine the vinegar, sugar, salt, and 7-UP.. mix until fully combined…

Slice up your pre-pickles lol, and fill each jar with them (leaving room for the liquid)

Now, pour the liquid evenly between both jars, seal well.. and refrigerate until you’re ready to enjoy them.. the longer, the more flavorful! ~Enjoy! 🙂

Yikes, I’m not sure what I can say about this one~ BUT, even if you don’t like Rum.. please, please.. just bake yourself up a Pineapple! OMG.. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything so juicy, so succulent, and so incredible! 

And it’s versatile! You can serve this in beautiful slices and eat them like a taco lol (my fave), OR scoop it up with some ice cream! Either way it’s divine!

This tipsy little treat will be the highlight of your night! The perfect ending to dinner, or the perfect start to a party! Simple, delicious, and so impressive~ it will be the star of your show!

What you’ll need:

one whole pineapple

1 cup of Rum.. I used Malibu

Some caramel and coconut for topping.. (optional)

Directions:

Slice the Pineapple evenly in half and poke a few holes in the flesh…

Pour some Rum into the holes…

Place them skin-side up in a shallow pan. Fill the pan with 1 cup water and 1/4 cup Rum…

Cover tightly with foil, and bake at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour. It takes quite a while for the pineapple to get tender all the way through…

Let it cool for a few minutes, it gets HOT!

Now you can slice some up…

 or scoop some out to serve with ice cream…

Top it with some coconut, and caramel.. because, YUM!

So, recently I saw a “recipe” for Cadbury Creme Egg MAYONNAISE.. and all I could think was “why didn’t I think of that” EWWWW!

In all honesty, I (as you probably know) love a good food mash-up.. BUT it needs to make sense, it needs to have something about it that actually sounds like it would be worth a try.. a glimmer of hope, one redeeming quality haha.. And I’m sorry, but the Mayo had none of that! So I got busy, I got my hands dirty, and here we are!

Now THIS makes sense. Crazy?.. maybe! BUT sense?.. yes! And after one taste, I can confirm it’s a keeper!

What you’ll need:

Peanut Butter

Cadbury Creme Eggs

Yep, THAT’S IT!

Instructions:

Combine them, smear it on pancakes, waffles, toast, use as a chip dip.. or heck, just grab a spoon.. trust me!
